Soak the onion in water before cutting-water will dilute the sulphuric compounds.

 Another thing is if you have time, to refrigerate it for a couple hours before you chop it.

eat bubblegum while cutting the onion...try it u hv no tears.

put peel of it on your left ear ,then cut it. beiieve me it works.
