There are shops like Manmandir and a couple of others on Nungambakkam High road, Varsidhi in T Nagar and other areas, Krishna collections and Pothys also has a good collection. Pothys has their range from 1500 to more than 50,000

 Thanks a lot, i want to buy more sarees when i go to chennai. Now a days if we want party wear/good designer saree we have to invest a lot. But my price range would be from Rs. 5,000/- and beyond.  What about rangoli i heard from my friend?

I have heard good about Rangoli. Pothys would be equally good.......I never used to visit this showroom until someone else got an amazing saree for a good price. I have bought almost 3 of my designer sarees from them and they are very good. But you gotto search and pick the best.

Varsidhi is also very good.

 Ok i keep pothys in mind. Wont we get below 15k in pothy's? where is varsidhi? 

Their price range starts from 1,500 to above 50,000.......Varsidhi is located on G N Chetty Road, Kilpauk and one other location I think

hi  , last  year  i  bought  one from  rangoli  .  Ya   they  have  good  collections .  And   another  good  place  is  sowcarpet - mint   street . So   many   varieties there.  Lots  of   shops  too!

Gotewala is damn good but they closed down in cathedral road

 hi u can also see RMKV website... they have displayed good collections in the website and price is also mentioned there (not very costly also).. if u click embroidery fancy saree u can see good collection of sarees having rich looks.... 

RMKV's website has stuff but does not have enough collection in what I felt in relity.

No they have not reopened on Cathedral Road as I cross that way twice a week.

    I got my reception saree from varshidi... they have some exclusive collections.... it is really good.... Also try RMKV.... they also have a good collection for a nominal price range... Also there is a shop called Milan Jyothi in Pondy bazar... i also has a vey good collection... try it out...

Just visit to sowcarpet, there u can find lots and lots of collections at a really cheaper rate.Its fully of marwadis area and u can try that out.

Else as c moms suggested varsidhi, rangoli, pothys , RMKV, all r good.U can find good collections when u visit boutiques.

I have dress materials starting from Rs.300 in cotton upto Rs.2000 and synthetic dress materials from Rs.150 onwards. No readymades though.. only materials and designer sarees

 U can also check out Anita near Chintamani near roundtana. They have good collection too. Manmandir is best. Even DIVA for that matter.
