My kid is now 1.7 year old. Most of his teeth have appeared. Can you pls suggest a toothpaste that can be used? Just to bring in the brushing habit...or is it too early to use a toothpaste?

Thanks for the responses. My only contention was that the toothpaste has to be safe to swallow. The kid doesn't  yet  know how to spit  out  while brushing.
