Hi Moms,

My cousin brother is getting married in August.My family members are in search for a marriage hall.Pls pour in ur options...it is needed urgently.

Criteria to be fulfilled : Seating should be made for atleast 1000 people.

Carparking should be provided for max of 500 cars.

It would be fine if it is in centre of the city.....

Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall in RA Puram close to Chettinad Vidyashram will definitely have ample car parking space. Are you sure there will be definitely 500 cars?

Raja Muthiah and Rani Meyammai not sure if it will have 50 car parking space.

Yeah...Marriage is for my chithi payan(Ammavoda thangachi) and mama ponnu(ammavoda anna ponnu).Both Chithappa and Mama are in higher posts.So would sure expect higher personalities..adhanala thaan we are looking out for such stuffs.

Oh ok.....even if 1000 people turn up, I was wondering if there would only be 2 people in a family that would come and 1 car a family kanakku potten.....heheheh :)

Check out Kamaraj Memorial....a friend of mine had his reception there and they had about 4000 guests and almost every one who came had a car so they printed 3 different invites for three separate groups and each group was invited for one timing....6:30pm to 7:30pm.....likewise....I think they also allow car parking in Congress grounds next to Kamaraj Memorial which will definitely accommodate so many cars. Not sure if you can conduct the wedding though. Please ask them to find out.

Is there any budget restriction?
