Hello,

I am in to my 5 th month of pregnancy for 2nd baby, already i have one girl child.I want to know the gender of my baby during my scan.But the doctors not tell me anything because now a days that is illegal .

Any other way is there to know my baby gender.simply i want to know not for any other reason...

first of all congratulations on being pregnant. I understand what you feel right now. But blv me, what is more important is that you have a healthy baby rather having a girl or boy. But I know how it is when you have a family pressure after already having a girl child. Most people want to give birth to a second baby boy. If you have any friend who is a doc, she or he might be of some help..else some gynaecs do not tell directly but hint indirectly. Like when i was pregnant, i asked my doc that i have all the symptoms of a baby gal and all elders in my family say i will have a gal..coz i have lower tummy, etc etc..and then she hinted..yes they can be right..Good luck..

Deepali,

your 5th month is running.......so it is too late to know the sex of the baby. so let it b surprise till delivary. Accept what God will gift you. Mentally preppare yourself & family members for baby girl / boy......it should b healthy.

Each and Every baby brings their own luck whether its baby boy or girl. Just pray to God that he or she will be very fine and with good luck. Who knows if it would be the top most leader like Indira Gandhi or Kiran Bedi or Aishwarya Rai or Kalpana Chawla or P.T.Usha of our country.

Know the old tradtion and family pressure is there but who will change our society so be the first try to convince them its nothing matter to be a baby girl or boy.

i hv a baby girl and now with her my family is completed ...no need of son ...why need the son .....still not understand this concept of society.

But with God grace my family is totally agreed with this decision.

I feel some milk secretion but im 7 th month of pregnancy now,is it normal to secrete milk from the breast prior to delivery?

It is not normal.please check with your doctor .if the baby is alive and healthy then don’t worry .

Ther may be watery secretion which is normal

I m 11^th week of pregnancy, I am healthy. Do I still need to take iron and calcium tablets? It will create any side effects.

Most of the Indians are anemic and the diet is not sufficient in iron and calcium.hence we advise routinely iron and calcium supplementation.they can cause some discomfort in the stomach for few people.most of the time it is well tolerated
