When a child feels that they are not achieving then they will perceive themselves as a failure, the children will tend to depression. This is a common psychological problem faced by teen age children. Try to change his mood. Ask his parent to sit and talk with him freely. He might be thinking of something and might be afraid to discuss with his parents too, so in this case ask some one who is very close to the boy to talk to him in a friendly manner. Try to contact his school teacher and ask them generally about his behaviors and activities in school. Spend more time with the boy, he might be depressed because of insufficient-care and loneliness too.
