Hi All,

Next year my daughter, will start her schooling (Pre-kg). I have short listed the below 3 in the same order. Please can you share your comments on them

1) PSBB - KK Nagar Branch

2) Holy Angel's - T.Nagar

3) St. Michaels ... Adyar.

Your suggestions on academics, fees, teachers, extra curricular activities would be helpful

And any tips on when the admission starts etc, would be great

St.Michael's is fees wise cheaper..they dont load kids much...but admissionwise they normally start in the month of Jan...my sis and bro kids are doing there...but if u want ur kid to be academically xcellent..may not be Good choice..but extra curriculam is defntly Good..

Other two no idea now...may be i'l let u know lil later

My boys go to PSBB.....they are good in both academics and extra curriculars. They will start issuing forms around October end - November. They will normally advertise in the paper. There are around 30 kids in a class and teachers are also good. Teaching methodology is also good.

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she can keep a watch.

Greetings Doctor,

Trust this finds u in best of health.

I am a mother of 2 kids. daughter age 6 and son 22 months. my concern is my son. its been a couple of months now, he blabbers alot. there are a few words i can understand but most of the time he blabbers or talks baby talk to himself or to us. he can say mamma, dadda, come, more (if he wants more to eat) numnum for food, the word no, his sister's name very recently. he loves to sing rhymes. but he cant prenounce the words perfectly but say he is 4 out of 10. the melody is perfect. it was all very adorable but sometimes its very worrying to hear him blabber. i wonder if it is normal. i am quite anxious to know cause i did not experience this with my daughter. infact she started talking really well by this time. please advise. Thanks for reading.

Hi Natalia,

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
