Hi ,

I am a new bee to this site.

I am ready confused about the age limit for LKG admission. Please do help me out in clarifying my doubts

My son is 2 yrs 5 months old and he is March born. He is in playschool now and next month will be moving to Nursery 1. I am planning to put him in a CBSE .

My doubts are

1. Can i admit him in LKG next year ?

2. When will the schools start issuing applications?

If he is March born he cant be 2 years and 5 months

S some schools allow the kids at the age of 3..but not branded schools..they opt for 3.5 years completion on May 31st..

From december u have to chk with the schools about the application issue date

Born on March 2008. He has completed 2 yrs 4 months and 5th month is running.

If you are opting for Matriculation or State board the age is 3 years as on June (or 2 1/2 on December) for admission. If it is CBSE then your kid should be 4 years as on June.

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she can keep a watch.

Trust this finds u in best of health.

I am a mother of 2 kids. daughter age 6 and son 22 months. my concern is my son. its been a couple of months now, he blabbers alot. there are a few words i can understand but most of the time he blabbers or talks baby talk to himself or to us. he can say mamma, dadda, come, more (if he wants more to eat) numnum for food, the word no, his sister's name very recently. he loves to sing rhymes. but he cant prenounce the words perfectly but say he is 4 out of 10. the melody is perfect. it was all very adorable but sometimes its very worrying to hear him blabber. i wonder if it is normal. i am quite anxious to know cause i did not experience this with my daughter. infact she started talking really well by this time. please advise. Thanks for reading.

Hi Natalia,

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
