My son is 26 months old now... when can i put him in carnatic lessons? which is the right age to start?

Hi : it depends on his vocal strength & his pronunciation .. " Ramji's school takes kids from 3 + also .. " take ur kid to a music teacher & check it out if he is ready for it ... best of luck ..

thanks so much for your answer. Hes learning sa ri ga ma pa da ni sa now... and able to sing but not in sruthi. raga is ok... as you say let me check. any info about ramjis schools if you have please....

But the normal age is 5 + yrs..Its only then the kids become a little matured and understand the ragam..and try to sing to the thalam....U can wait for sme more time..but let him listen to a lotta music..jus keep playg...teach him small songs in the language comfortable...slokas...

it is advisable for the kids to put them in music college at the age of 8. this is referred by the doctors.let the kid be free, till the age of 7 and then slowly put the kids involved in all the activities.

Ramji has this music classes @ Besant Nagar , R A Puram & Mambalam . Phone of RA puram is 24941464 . U can call there & check if they have any branch @ Kollathur .. I will suggest u to find a teacher to come home & teach as the baby is bit young ..

Shobee dear : My mom as well my sister started their vocal at the age of 3 + (ofcourse arranged for a teacher to come home .... if the voice is right & ucharippu sariya irrunda porum .. )
