I want to learn stitching from the basics. Is there any book available on it? I have the stitching machine but do not know hoe to stitch.

Hey for the past few days, even i been seriously thinking of learning to stitch..!! My mom does, but she laughs it off when i ask her to teach me..

So i thought i ll look for some book, though mom advises that u have to learn practically, and that the perfect cut and fit will take quite some time to master.

I hv heard about the 'Zarapkar Book' on tailoring and a few others. Here are two links :
