Hi,

My second child have 3 years old ,he is always draw or paint anything in wall only,in all our room walls he drawing any pictures and letters using any color pencil,so if i erase also that wall look is very bad..i think you are all understand my problem..

i told him many times and punish also but there is no improvement. I dont know have any idea how to handle him please give me some suggestion...

Get him a fancy blackboard that you'll find in any toy store.

Don't restict him..let him do ..u can paint ur wall..but u should not stop his creativity. He will put his imagination over there ...if u give him a book, board tehn also they prefer wall...its just for few mor emonths...he will not try after an age..so let him do it....

ur true Purnima... even my daughter did the same... we were all asking her not to wirte... she was not listening to us... then we throught let her draw what ever she wants later she will only stop... Dont worry aftersome he will stop...

Poornima & Shilpa r right....Don't restrict ur son & even don't punish...just enjoy it..later u can paint ur wall.I just did the same when my daughter was doing that...I never scolded her...i just enjoyed it.

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she can keep a watch.

Greetings Doctor,

Trust this finds u in best of health.

I am a mother of 2 kids. daughter age 6 and son 22 months. my concern is my son. its been a couple of months now, he blabbers alot. there are a few words i can understand but most of the time he blabbers or talks baby talk to himself or to us. he can say mamma, dadda, come, more (if he wants more to eat) numnum for food, the word no, his sister's name very recently. he loves to sing rhymes. but he cant prenounce the words perfectly but say he is 4 out of 10. the melody is perfect. it was all very adorable but sometimes its very worrying to hear him blabber. i wonder if it is normal. i am quite anxious to know cause i did not experience this with my daughter. infact she started talking really well by this time. please advise. Thanks for reading.

Hi Natalia,

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
