my 7 month old baby dnt take whole milk. i tried several measures bt no luck... anybody can suggest... she dnt take bottle... i have tried with sippy cup and spoon too.

2 answers so far. What are your thoughts?

It's ok if the baby doesn't take milk often... Few babies will avoid milk after they've tasted the solid foods!

Just make sure that he/she gets calcium by other means - yogurt, cheese, butter etc.

If you are very particular, you can try giving flavoured milk - for 7 months its too early to use supplements like pediasure, jr.horlicks etc. So you can refregirate and give the cold milk (if the baby is not prone to cold/cough). You can try to add sugar/honey and give the milk.

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she can keep a watch.

Trust this finds u in best of health.

I am a mother of 2 kids. daughter age 6 and son 22 months. my concern is my son. its been a couple of months now, he blabbers alot. there are a few words i can understand but most of the time he blabbers or talks baby talk to himself or to us. he can say mamma, dadda, come, more (if he wants more to eat) numnum for food, the word no, his sister's name very recently. he loves to sing rhymes. but he cant prenounce the words perfectly but say he is 4 out of 10. the melody is perfect. it was all very adorable but sometimes its very worrying to hear him blabber. i wonder if it is normal. i am quite anxious to know cause i did not experience this with my daughter. infact she started talking really well by this time. please advise. Thanks for reading.

Hi Natalia,

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
