Hi Blrmoms,

I had to sit on the rusted-dirty chairs of an open stadium when i went for my son's sports day. Unfortunately I wore a white dress and it has stains all over... It's a new dress and now cdnt wear it anymore :(

I washed it with lemon and scrubbed in the brush too... no use. Is there any stain remover that will be effective?

  • Lay the rust-stained fabric over several white paper towels, which will act as a blotter and absorb the rust.

  • 2

Cut a lemon in half and saturate the stain with the fresh lemon juice. (Bottled lemon juice will work, too.)

  • 3

Set the fabric (with the paper towel blotter beneath) out in the sun to dry. The rust stain will disappear.

  • 4

    Launder as usual.

Try with some lime juice over the stained area and soak it for about some 5-10 mins and then try brushing with normal detergent soap. Hope this works out!!!
