Are you new to Chennai Moms?

As far as I know, KV's admit children in standard I who have completed 5 years. Well I am not an experienced mom but I've been checking out school sites recently for my son. You can also do the same. Check KV's and other schools' web page. Most of them will give u a detailed report about them. Good luck.

Anybody got any idea of a good school in Kochi?.

I heard that "Mar Thoma - Smart School " in Ponnurunni is a good school.

But when I enquired about Smart school with my cousins in Kochi, they advised me against of it as its just surviving only on the name-Mar Thoma. My cousin's children were studying there before and according to my cousin's husband, who is a Colonal in Army, "the shool principal deserves to man a butcherhouse rather than a school". She does't know how to talk. My cousin didn't let her husband involve in the scholl matter because then they will harass the student. She said once he was so angry that he was about to go and meet the principal with his loaded pistol. Then she had to plead with him and convince him and then they changed the children from the Smart School.

What I wonder is that the Mar Thoma management is so dump and blind that they kept such a pivort as principal? It seems that her only interest is to take money and then behave to the parents like - you get lost!  They don't even look after the children properly. They think that their responsibility is over with taking the money.

They should atleast think that the principal should have some qualities which the students can adapt.

Any body having bad experience with the school? If yes then we should not leave them like that.
