Tags : Entrepreneurial India - is this the way forward?
I have been travelling the last few months across the length & breadth of India and one observation I have is that most people would love to be entrepreneurs. Indeed, it was heartening to see the younger lot talk about starting their own businesses, becoming financially independent early in life so they can enjoy work life balance and set a path for the next generation.
I would like to hear comments/experiences of others in the group with regard to this silent growth that is steadily brewing in this country...
Regards...Uma
I feel that this is a good improvement because at least the youth has started aiming higher and they will work hard to reach their target... Though everybody cannot be the boss atleast they aim to do so and by doing this they work hard with all their mind and body focussed on their goal.
So by this way there are less chances of getting distracted to other bad habits or bad frnds or anything like that.. and this is very good for our country and its people. This is indeed a very good improvement for our country.
U know my kid now at this age only says she wants to become the boss it seems.. for what and where she doesnt know, but she likes tat word boss..
hi..
it is very interesting that young generations.. would like to come forward and want to achieve something in life.. for this they need support.. it is the duty of the parents / well wishers to guide them to go in the good path of the life... :)
I will completely agree with hema and smitha... :) good hear now a days youth are doing good...
Thank you for the responses ladies...it is heartening to know that the youth are ready to break the mold and move ahead. The disheartening reality is that most family members don't want to give the next generation a chance or opportunity.
During the same travel, I also encountered parents/family members who discouraged children in more ways than one.
It was then that I realized that this is a catch 22 situation...while on one hand parents do want their children to achieve fantastic things, at the same time they are not willing to let them take risks...the fear of failure and being ridiculed is a very common & natural fear that all of us are afflicted with.
So, how do we enable & empower the people around us then???
