I have some physical and family problem. am in office now. now i feel very upset and depressed. how to control stress. due to this am unable to do any work.

Hi Aparijita,

Very sad to know that you are very low now.. But I want to say one thing... nobody is happy always dear... All of us are worried for some or the other thing always.. It happens to many of us the same way you are feeling right now.... There is no other go dear , we have to deal with such things...  

The best thing I can suggest you is just tell you problems to someone close to you or someone who is ready to listen to you.. Just tell them everything, wats the problem, wat you feel, what do u want to do about tat problem , everything..   Thought you might not get a solution but you will feel very very light after that.. I do that always and i have some very good friends in this very platform. We confide in each other whenever we have a problem. So that way we feel very light with a sigh of relief.

Or one more solution is go to the washroom and cry out as much as you want.... After this wash your face , go have a cup of coffe or tea.. you ll definitely feel better.

One thing is you cannot control all these dear.. you just have to learn to live with this. Only that way we women can survive. and that s why women are known to be stronger than men. So just dont keep worrying about the same problems. Just think of a solution, try to implement it. if it works fine.. otherwise just leave it for sometime.. you ll find a new way for that.

Or if you are feeling very very low and are not able to sit there, I suggest you take leave for a day and go and stay in your moms house or wherever you can rest peacefully for sometime..

Eating 8 to 10 leaves of tulsi every morning is an effective way to reduce stress levels. Besides doing pranayams also helps. More than anything else, you need to become AWARE your stress, the reasons and find a solution. If possible attend an AWARENESS workshop conducted by someone from the Theosophical Society, Chennai. It really helps.
