maharishi vidhya mandhir for sure u can look for other schools also..i think chinmaya vidhyalaya in harrington road/sherwood hall/dav etc,. pls dont admit ur child in millineum as the school might be good but commuting everyday will cause trouble to child...

I reside in choolaimedu too. There are lots of children going to Sherwood Hall from my place.Also i've heard that the teaching is good too.But the school as such is congested and the school ground/play area is too small.

My son is nw 7 yrs old.  he is studying 2nd std right now. last year i put him in an international school.  but for 1st std student they taught 2nd std english n maths syllabus as well as french also.  they gave lots of hm work everyday.  so he can not review the previous lesson.  totally he was not interested in his studies.  he did his dictation well @ hm.  but in school he got many wrongs.  Atlast , the school management ask us to repeat 1st std again.  How can i waste my son's year??  he knows everything.  finally, i put him in an ordinary school...where they r gving less hm work, he can understand everything step by step.  he is a well reader.  but when i ask him to write smthing new word he can't.  it's seriuosly affect me.  @ which age the kids can start to write newwords without dictation??  pls......help me to solve my problems.

My kid studies in maharishi school. Totally a good school. The KG section is so good, my kid loves to go to school everyday. Teachers teach with all passion, they give importance to many extra curricular activities and overall develop the personality of the child.  If you are lucky to get admission, do not miss it.

My son of age 5 's urine is always surrounded by ants. Is he diabetic? Bcoz my father and grandparents are diabetic. I'm not. Please help me.

If your son is otherwise fine, Urine surrounded by ants is no indication that someone is diabetic , this is quite a common feature, but because diabetes runs in families so whenever you visit your paediatrician next do discuss your family history with him so that he/she  can keep a watch.

No 2 kids are same so u cannot compare him with your daughter, From what you have written, doesn’t looks like there is a problem, some kids start speaking late, so if his understanding of things and hearing is all right,don’t worry, just continue talking to him, reading to him and otherwise stimulating him and just relax and enjoy your babies!
