Hi all,
My cousin sister is 3 months pregnant. She has a low haemoglobin. Will this in any way complicate the pregnancy? Will this in any way affects my sister?
Hi,
Your cousin needs to be supplmented with protein and folic acid urgently. This should be preferably organic in nature so that there is no risk of deposits in body or side effects.
Haemoglobin is a protein a you may know. Protein requirement is very high in pregnancy for growth of the baby. And Folic acid plays a crucial role in cell multiplication and growth.
I myself had low haemoglobin during pregnancy. I got very good results by taking prganic supplements
Only severe anaemia could cause complications during pregnancy, so it is best that she starts having iron-rich foods like green vegetables, spinach.
Nuts should be taken only in limited quantity during pregnancy or otherwise also.one or two pieces of anyone of these nuts will be sufficient.too much of it will make you put on weight more than normal, which is not advised.dry fruits are not needed. You take fresh fruits.dry fruits are for people who are under weight .
