Ya you are correct,,, Dav school is very strict and they always give more importance to education..

is it easy to get admission there?

Admission depends mostly on submission of all required documents, proximity to the school, age of the child. If all these are correctly met, admission is easy.

As for extra curricular activities, right from preKG they have class competitions for colouring, sloka recitation etc.

They also encourage to participate in inter school sloka contests like gita recitation etc.

The class strength is little high. about 45 children per section, which is too much for a teacher to focus on.

do you have any idea about the selection procedure,how tough it is?what are the questions used to ask?

When we went for admission for my son, there were no questions asked in particular to either the parents or the child. There was just some light conversation with the child by the principal during the 'interview'. In my opinion, the interview process is not very strict, and if the submitted application is through, it should be fine.

any other good school in velachery ,guindy area? heard getting seats in arsha vidhya mandir is very difficult though only 32 seats are available.
