• Mrs. Homemaker, Chennai is a reality show, a competition for married women from Chennai.

• Mrs. Homemaker, Chennai is devoted to emphasize that Chennai’s homemakers are extraordinarily beautiful, poised, articulate and versatile.

• Newly married homemaker or those who have celebrated golden wedding anniversary, all are welcome. No age bar for the contestants.

• No previous pageant experience is necessary.

• Event enlivened with surprise, fun and excitement in varied forms like visits to villages, playing games etc.

• Contestants have a single platform to bring to the fore innate skills and talents before a live audience in a huge auditorium.

• The show consists of quarterfinal, semifinal and final rounds on the stage, with rounds on dance, music, mimicry and answering questionnaires.

• The grand finale of the show will be conducted in Kamarajar Arangam, Chennai. Celebrity guests, dignitaries and judges from various walks of life will be present to crown the 'Mrs. Homemaker, Chennai 2009'.
